Here’s a little challenge for you. Wherever you are right now, look around and point out one product or material that does not find its origin from our earth. Surprise: the answer is nothing. Everything you can touch, feel and see was created from natural resources produced by the sun via photosynthesis. Even the air that we breath. If our planet as a life source is that important to us, it seems obvious we’d better care for it well.
If there is one thing we should have learned over the last decades, it is that mankind has over-exploited the earth. We witness the effects of that every day and we will keep witnessing it until we radically change. We are exceeding the planet’s boundaries and we can no longer extract more raw materials and products than earth is capable of bringing back. That is the cause of many global problems we are facing now.
At this very moment the planet is suffering from human actions. Ecology is out of balance, and even global public health is at stake due to viruses we have never encoutered before. Radical change is needed! The only logical way forward is to strive for a Blue Line Society.Strive for a Blue Line Society
In a Blue Line Society, citizens, including producers and policy makers understand and act upon it to take less from the earth, than the earth can give back, thus granting our planet some ‘slack’. This perceived society will offer a better, less destructive balance compared to our unbalanced world we live in today.
There is a concern about the planet’s ecological health and that of its citizens, including their social, psychologic and economic needs.
As a consequence the greater the extent to which we achieve a Blue Line Society, the healthier our planet and thus society becomes. Blue Line Society is a philosophy based on the principles of nature that creates healthy income flows in the form of sustainable business for profit to all of us. In a Blue Line Society we focus on locally available resources to fulfill the basic nees of both people and planet. We will restore and conserve nature, while at the same time creating economic and inspirational values.
Be proud of all those individuals and organizations around the world that try to make our word a better place every day. Be proud of all those who get their hands dirty and make this world a more habitable place for all of us to live in. The more we can create societies that follow the Blue Line philosophy the closer we get to a world in balance
It is sincerely believed that the only logical way forward is to strive for a Blue Line Society. But it only works if all of us, seven billion people believe this and act upon it. So, let’s invite each other to strive for citizens, including their producers and policy makers to bring our planet and its habitants back in balance.
